Announcements                        Sunday June 9th 

 

Garage Sale:  an opportunity to clear out your attic and raise some more outreach funds.  Sale will be held in the hall on Saturday June 15, from 9-12. (please use rear door). 

If you want to drop off items for the sale either bring them in this Sunday and put them on the stage in the hall or bring them on Thursday June 13th between 1 and 3pm. Any questions please speak to Alison or call her at 250 724-2480 

Pride Service Thank you everyone who helped make our last Sunday a chance for us to acknowledge our support for the Pride Community.  Thanks to Robbie for the beautiful poem, to Alison for decorating, to Nathan for getting our Pride Service in the local Pride Calendar and everything else he did to prepare, to Nathan and Michelle for the beautiful music. I hope I have not missed anyone. 

 

Grounds Cleanup a big thank you to Nathan for keeping the grounds so tidy and all the other thing you do to keep our building functioning.  If you would like to help Nathan – just let him know. 

 

Community Cupboard There is a list in the basket at the back of the church of the recommended foods for low income people to bring for the cupboard, and at this time of year a few pieces of fresh fruit are always welcome. Thank you to Robbie for shopping for the cupboard again. 

 

Celebrations Pastor Marvin is celebrated 50 years of service on June 9th.  Thank you to Julie for getting a card to his wife from our congregation

Lay Leadership Course Geerry and Julie are awaiting the completion of the Diocesan review and issuing of their licenses by the Bishop.
