We acknowledge that for thousands of years the Nuu-chah-nulth peoples have walked gently on theses unceded territories of the Hupacasath and Tseshaht peoples, we seek as a congregation to grow in understanding as to what the truth of colonization is, and what we need to do to be a part of the reconciliation way with our Indigenous neighbours. We encourage our Parish Members to make Truth and Reconciliation a part of their lives by connecting with our Indigenous Peoples at every opportunity. To attend those functions organized by the local Indigenous Peoples when invited.
