We wish everyone a memorable Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for.

Council Notes:

Our revenues are up a little.  This is a good sign - thank you to everyone who gives generously.  If you would like to have envelopes so that your donations can be tracked in order, issue a charitable receipt or you need more information about how to have a certain amount paid from your bank on a regular basis,  please speak to our Donations Secretary, Art Halsall, or our Treasurer Jeanne.

Please speak to council members if you have any questions or concerns.

Our members have been invited to join Skysong on Monday night or Yoga on Tuesday or  Wednesday night. Leaders of these groups are happy to have our members join them.

Tuesday Prayer Group – The group meets at the church Tuesdays at 7:00 pm.

The prayer chain is a group of people from this parish willing to pray for other people. If you have a prayer request or would like to become part of the prayer chain please speak to Jennifer. Most people know how elusive peace can be—societal and world events are cases in point. For both its presence and its absence, Peace is a word and concept that deeply touches our hearts and minds.

This afternoon session will focus on Peace: on the Biblical concept of Shalom, both in the Hebrew Scriptures and the New Testament, especially the Gospels. And Peace: the challenge of having it be our quest and aim, daily.

Time together will include two conferences, time for quiet/private reflection, for shared discussion, and a coffee/tea break. Registration in advance, by contacting the parish office, is appreciated.
