Next Sunday is our welcome back after summer.  There will be a luncheon served and some fun for all. Please invite your family, friends, and neighbours to come and experience the joy of a welcoming community! All are welcome!

Dear Trinity Community

The Sunday School Program is looking for the following items to complete the setup of our new Atrium. If you have things at home or know of spare items stored in our Trinity cupboards, please let us know! Please note that any items donated to the Atrium (duplicates or not appropriate) will be donated to the November fundraising event to raise funds to purchase other Atrium supplies.

LIST OF ITEMS STILL REQUIRED

  1. Two or three small statues: e.g. the Good Shepherd, the Blessed Mother and

Child, the Holy Family.

  1. Three or four medium/ to larger size pieces of religious art to hang on the

walls (bulletin boards are covered in posters). Must be beautiful (not childish).

  1. 2 regular sized glass cruets with lids (We have two now but one doesn’t have

a lid)

  1. Small carafe of red wine (Glass)
  2. Small pitcher of water (Glass)Small glass or metal funnel for preparing cruets
  3. Small Silver Tray for cruets
  4. Small glass or metal funnel for preparing the cruets
  5. Assorted brass items for brass polishing activity
  6. Sacristy Cabinet to hold the altar articles (proportionate to the altar table):

(optional) For now we can keep the articles in a wire basket.

  1. Small Crucifix of the Risen Christ (2).
  2. Used pascal candle and stand, (ideally so that flame is at eye level for the

children)

  1. Small individual candles (with cups or trays to catch wax drips) for all present,

one larger transfer candle to light from the pascal candle

  1. Jerusalem type, very tiny mustard seeds in a small container, the inside of the

container is white so the seeds can be seen.

  1. Assorted trays – good quality and large enough for children’s activities. Ideal

size is food trays like they use in cafeterias.

  1. Baskets and boxes -Assorted sizes and good quality to hold figurines and

diorama pieces

  1. Small round rug for baptism area
  2. Several smaller good quality rugs (round or square or rectangle shaped) to

delineate workstations (Model Alter, Offering, Good Shepherd)

  1. Small child size White baptismal garment for baptism area
  2. Small Nativity - Good Quality Set
  3. Small Globe

Tuesday Prayer Group – The group meets at the church Tuesdays at 7:00 pm.

The prayer chain is a group of people from this parish willing to pray for other people. If you have a prayer request or would like to become part of the prayer chain please speak to Jennifer.
